Field 03
Digitalization
Many companies still work with scattered lists, manual steps and unclear responsibilities.
VisionProviders helps to make processes more digital, clearer and easier to steer.
For us digitalization does not simply mean replacing paper with software. It means restructuring workflows and connecting them sensibly.
Focus areas
- Digital customer management
- Digital quote and invoice processes
- Document structure
- Process analysis
- Role and permission concepts
- Digital workflows
Typical starting situations
- The same information sits in three lists, and only asking around reveals which one is right.
- A case travels through the company by email, and its status can only be established by asking.
- One person being on holiday or ill brings a process to a halt.
- Software is available, but people do their actual work outside it.
How we work
It begins with a record of the current state: which steps actually exist — not according to the manual but in everyday work — who carries them out, what data they produce, and where the chain breaks. That record is the real work; it regularly surfaces steps nobody can justify any more.
This assessment defines the intended future process and the priorities for getting there. We start where manual effort is high and the required change is manageable, rather than digitalizing everything at once. Where an existing analogue process works well, we deliberately retain it instead of changing it simply for completeness.
What can come out of it
Possible results
- Analysis of the processes as they are today
- Digital target state
- Data and responsibility structure
- Requirements for the systems needed
- Prioritized implementation path
Not every engagement covers all of these. What is produced depends on the undertaking and is agreed beforehand.
What matters here
The most common mistake is to transfer a process into software one to one. A process that took detours on paper takes them digitally afterwards — only faster and harder to spot.
Responsibilities matter just as much. Digitalization makes visible who is accountable for what, and that is often the uncomfortable part; leave the question open and you get a system nobody maintains. Then there is the transition: for a while the old and the new way run side by side, and that needs a rule, not a hope.
Where this ends
Digitalization puts the process in order. If the aim is to take recurring manual steps out altogether, automation is the next field — and it presupposes an ordered structure.
If an application of your own is the outcome, software development takes over. Here it is decided what a system has to do; there it is built.

What are you working on?
Briefly describe your “Digitalization” case — the situation and the goal are enough to start. You get an assessment, not a price estimate; nothing about it is binding.
